The Mola Solis restaurant is situated near Orvieto only 10 mins by car, just a few miles from Viterbo, along the Strada dei Vini, or wine road.

The restaurant occupies a reconverted stables and is surrounded by the natural reserve of Alviano.

In this welcoming and comfortable environment our chef Luciano, who graduated at the well-known hotelier school in Spoleto, offers a taste of the finest traditional Umbrian and Valle Teverina dishes.

The cuisine here is in fact a revisited version of traditional dishes that make use of seasonal produce in a menu ranging from meat to mushrooms, truffles, game, fish and desserts.

The wine list features selected labels from all over Italy as well as Orvieto Classico, the wine most commonly produced in the area around the river Tiber.

The restaurant has a fine garden for open air eating in the summer months.
