Near Orvieto,
in the boundaries of Civitella D'Agliano, in the middle of the green
landscape of the WWF Natural Oasis of Alviano, you will find
the restaurant and pizzeria with lodging facilities "MOLA SOLIS".
The restaurant activities are directed by Luciano, an expert cook,
graduated at the famous Hotel School of Spoleto, awarded in 1990
with the Silver Dish. The boarding-house is run by Roberta, instead.

THE CUISINE
In this characteristic environment, placed in a former stable
and farmhouse, you may taste traditional dishes and the specialities
of the old cuisine of Umbria and of the Valle Teverina: Dishes
with black truffles, with boletus mushrooms, game, delis, cheese,
original entries, farm-grown vegetables, fish specialties. Lovers
of pizzas will find the renowned "Mola Solis'', seasonned
with radicchio, four cheeses plus gorgonzola. The pizzas are exclusively
baked in the wood-fired oven. During the summer evenings the meals,
wettened by fine DOC wines of Orvieto and of the Valle dei Vini,
are served in a homely garden.

In a few minutes drive you may reach the towns of Orvieto, Todi,
Viterbo, Orte, Bomarzo, Bagnoregio, Bolsena, Tuscania and many other
tourist sites of the Tuscia Viterbese and of Umbria. Nearby runs
the Motorway A1 Florence-Rome with the exits Attigliano (10 km)
and Orvieto (15 km). |
