Located roughly 30 kilometres from Orvieto, La Capretta is very close to the small Medieval village of Parrano, perched on the summit of a hill at 460 metres above sea level and commanding magnificent views over the valleys below with olive groves and woodland.

La Capretta is within a 50 hectare farm and is made up of two farmhouses, Poggio della Capretta that houses some rooms and the restaurant, and Il Casinetto, just 400 metres off and with views towards the village of Parrano. Il Casinetto comprises more rooms, a romantic informal garden, an old well and a bowling run.
La Villa is another house that stands 3 kilometres from the main section of the residence. Surrounded by green, La Villa has its own walled garden and swimming pool and is divided into 6 apartments as well as the flat of the watchman, who lives in the building.
The restaurant is open also to the general public and specialises in traditional Umbrian dishes such as home made pasta, meat cooked over wood fires, savoury pizzas and locally made pastries. The wine served in the restaurant comes from the owner’s wineyards. 

All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and autonomous heating. The furnishings are the traditional wood pieces of the region and the floors are all in terracotta. Some rooms are at Il Casinetto, just 400 metres from the main body of the residence.

The apartments are all located at La Villa. Furnishings are simple and the flats are composed of a sitting room with kitchenette and sofa-bed, one or two double rooms and private bathrooms. All the apartments have televisions.
