This elegant, quiet hotel, is in a meticulously restored 17th century building right in the charming old town centre of Spello, a town that has managed to preserve its unique Medieval flavour and offers a number of interesting sights for the modern tourist.

The 11 large, light-filled rooms that make up the hotel are equipped with every modern comfort and some have the additional advantage of enjoying magnificent views over the valley below.

Although the hotel is within the Medieval fortifications of old Spello, it is easily reachable and strategically placed to visit other towns in Umbria such as Assisi and Perugia.

In 2004 The Hotel del Teatro was awarded the prestigious quality Umbrian hotel certificate.

Breakfast room – ideal for tasting freshly made Umbrian pastries served daily. Large covered terrace – looking out over the valley below, breakfast is served here during the warm summer months.

Adaptable meeting room – for meetings of up to 30 people. Special rates for guests at the Il Cacciatore restaurant, which belongs to the same owners as the hotel and is able to cater for half and full boarding guests. Small free of charge garage reserved for the hotel’s guests.

The rooms, large, light-filled are decorated with quality but functional furnishings. All with parquet floors, the rooms all have colour television, independent heating, direct line telephone, minibar, computer socket, safe, private bathroom, shower and hairdryer.
