The Hotel Clitunno has recently undergone major restoration works and is ideally located right in the centre of Spoleto, the town made famous throughout the world by the Two Worlds Festival.

All the main sights and venues in Spoleto are within easy walking distance of the hotel. The magnificent Duomo and the city’s imposing Borgia fortress, the Rocca, are just 300 metres away.

Run with loving care by the Tomassoni family, the interior decoration of the Hotel Clitunno reflects its owners’ passion for antiques, for an overall effect of warmth that epitomises traditional Umbrian houses.

The Hotel Clitunno has 45 rooms, all different one from the other and recently restored according to two overriding styles. Every room has its own television, hairdryer, telephone, air conditioning and bathroom.

“Standard Rooms” are decorated with contemporary furniture painted in warm pastel colours. “Old Style Rooms” have either terracotta or parquet floors, wrought iron beds and open wooden beam ceilings.

The traditional cuisine served in the “San Lorenzo” restaurant is made with fresh, seasonal produce from the family farm, with an assortment of local and international dishes. An inviting buffet breakfast is served in the same room in the mornings.
