Assisi - How to Reach Assisi

At the centre of the Italian peninsula, Assisi is in the region of Umbria, 27 Km SE of the region's main city Perugia and 203 Km N of Rome. Good road connections make Assisi easily reachable by car.

Coming from the north by car: leave the A1 motorway at Valdichiana.

Coming from the south, leave the A1 motorway at Orte.

By train:

from the north take the Florence-Rome line and change at Terontola to the Terontola-Perugia-Foligno line.

From the south, take the Rome-Ancona line and change at Foligno to the Foligno-Perugia-Terontola line.
