From July 23rd to August 2nd Città della Pieve and many neighbouring Medieval towns will be hosting the 14th edition of the Trasimeno Blues itinerant festival, with concerts scheduled in some of the most enchanting spots around Lake Trasimene. This year’s festival will focus on what continues to be the undisputed instrument in the Blues repertoire – the guitar. Throughout the festival the magnificent state rooms of Palazzo Corgna in Città della Pieve will in fact be running the Fender Museum show featuring Stratocasters collected by Flavio Camorani. On the opening night of the festival, July 23rd, there will be a recital by the young English guitarist Matt Schofield, with the closing concert on August 2nd featuring the legendary Robben Ford.
